WinClear Overview:

Winclear is clearly to be ranked as one of the three latest and greatest privacy controls software available today. It contends with PreatoLogic in a number of features and options. It has a file shredder feature that meets the government military standards and does a good job of deleting files for the average PC user. Although it has a lot, it misses one feature that is a pretty standard feature for good privacy controls programs which is the stealth mode option. Stealth mode, simply means running the program icon in the system tray. It is also not fully compatible with some common programs like Internet Explorer 7 or Skype.

Effectiveness:

The program is very effective and whatever it says it can do in the documentation, it does do.

Ease of use:

The software is not user-friendly and is convenient only for the computer-savvy. It still delivers what it promises and compensates difficult user interface with thoroughness in removing unwanted files.

Value:

The selling price of the software is $37.00. In comparison to what it can do for you, the price is of little significance.
