ParetoLogic Privacy Control Overview:
If you combine good software engineering with brand name that has references to a famous economic principle, you might end up with a product like ParetoLogic Privacy Controls. We have every reason to believe that this software deserves to have the title of best privacy software. If we rule out having a catchy name as one of this product’s strong points, then we should put ease of use on top of its nice aspects list. The software is so easy to use that you begin to forget that it’s intended for very difficult tasks. It removes different kinds of online footprints like chat conversations, peer-to-peer file sharing and toolbar searches. You can do this without ever pressing F1 for Help. Installing ParetoLogic Privacy Controls is very easy. You are also assured of very sticky defaults after the installation so you can use it right away without even doing a lot of configuration. However user-friendly the software is, you might have to press F1 for help at one point or consult the documentation for clarification. If that time comes, you will not be disappointed with the in-product help and information. The computer terms used in their in-product help are terms out of “Using Computers 101″. If that is not enough, which I doubt would be the case, there is email support for you and FAQs for general questions. Among its few areas for improvement are the software’s incompatibility with newer versions of common applications. For example, it works with MS Office 2003 but not 2007 and Yahoo Messenger 8, but not version 9. You might have to run a scan, which is amazingly fast by the way, a couple of times, to get rid of items that should not be in your PC. Effectiveness: The software is effective, at least effective enough to remove your tracks online and not let anybody see what they’re not supposed to see. Scans and removals are pretty comprehensive and includes core online privacy files. Ease of use: The software is very easy to use and it removes a substantial amount of temp files, history, favorites, cookies, index.dat files, saved passwords, downloaded program files and address bar histories. Value: The program sells at $29.95. With this price, which is considerably lower than its other counterparts like Evidence Eliminator, you need not worry about obliviously giving out private information to the rest of the world. Think about it. Recommended? ParetoLogic Privacy Control is our top choice for a history eraser. If you’re curious about our test of other history erasers, you can find our results here: We recommend you DO NOT pay for any program that claims to erase your history until you read those results. - Do Not Pay For ParetoLogic Privacy Control Until You Read This
