Clipboard History

Every time you copy and paste text or images in Windows Vista, the files that you copied get saved in a temporary storage called clipboard. Here are the steps to clear your clipboard in Windows Vista.
1. Click Start
2. Hit Run (Win key + R if you use keyboard shortcuts)
3. Type this in the textfield:
cmd /c “echo off | clip”
4. When you hit OK a window opens but it closes immediately. Don’t worry that’s normal.
5. Now your clipboard is clear.

If you want to create a shortcut for clearing your clipboard, you can follow these steps.

1. First you’ll need to right click on your desktop and select New and Shortcut.>br/>

2. Then type in the following command cmd /c “echo off | clip”.

3.Click next and give the shortcut a name.
