Windows Media Player 11 History

Windows Media Player 11 by default, keeps a history of the most recently accessed media files. This history is listed under the File menu. To clear the list follow these steps:

1. Right Click on the menu bar and select Tools>Options or use the ALT + T hotkey combination followed by pressing the O key.

2. You should see an Options Window. Click on the Privacy tab.

3. Under the History section, click on the Clear History button, this will remove your most Recently Played Files list. To set Windows Media Player 11 to not remember history, clear the Save file and URL history in the Player check box.
