Ghost Surf is easy to install, use, configure and understand. It allows you to use a wide variety of plugins and even create your own. It is compatible with Vista and so with newer software. Ghost Surf’s Internet browser cleaning features includes address bar, cache files, cookies, and recent history. The Windows cleaning features includes program logs, MS Office history and recently opened documents. It is not sophisticated enough to be in the top 5 privacy software controls but just like all top ten privacy controls software it does what its supposed to do and what it promises to do.

Effectiveness:

Ghost Surf provides cleaning options at startup with the ability to schedule the cleanup and overwrite files from 1-5 times.

Ease of use:

There is no question about how easy this program is.

Value:

The program is $49.95 and has a lot of nice features especially the interface but not powerful enough to be the best.
